We had a chance (finally!) to head up to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, Wisconsin for Scout Weekend a few weeks ago.  We had a blast.  This was the first time the girls had been to a renaissance festival and it was fun to experience it again for the first time through their eyes.



We practiced archery...


watched the joust...


pretended to be in jail...


used the map to figure out where we were...


posed under appropriate signs... (edited to take out the inappropriate parts!)


and enjoyed the shows, particularly the Barely Balanced show which we caught twice!  Their skill is amazing.  He's juggling knives up there, by the way.

We also saw all sorts of characters...


and had a great day!  Ebabe even got to use her daddy stilts :)
